Paid Ads Specialist – Paid Social & Search (Remote)

About the role

Rankist, a Swiss Shopify growth agency, is looking for a Paid Ads Specialist to own Meta and Google advertising for its portfolio of regulated e‑commerce brands. You will manage both paid social and paid search campaigns while ensuring compliance with strict platform policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch, and scale Meta and Google Ads campaigns for Shopify brands in regulated verticals.
• Build compliant ad accounts and creative that pass review without sacrificing performance.
• Manage Business Manager structures, domain verification, pixel and Conversions API setup, and Google Shopping feed compliance.
• Recover and reinstate disabled accounts.
• Communicate directly with clients in clear, professional English.
• Collaborate with designers and the Klaviyo team to align paid traffic and email funnels.
• Report on ROAS, CAC, blended performance, and incrementality in client‑friendly language.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads, including spend in regulated categories (CBD, supplements, nicotine, etc.).
• Deep knowledge of Meta Business Manager, Google Ads policy, account warm‑up strategies, and reinstatement processes.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to speak directly with clients.
• Independent work style with ownership of account outcomes.
• Availability for at least 4 hours of overlap with European business hours.
