Project Manager – HVAC & Infrastructure

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead HVAC and infrastructure projects in a fast‑paced, complex environment. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure safe, efficient delivery in line with regulatory and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple HVAC and infrastructure projects from planning through execution and handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, risks, and documentation.
• Review and validate proposals, cost estimates, scopes, and contractor performance.
• Manage change orders, negotiations, claims, and contract administration.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.
• Prepare project reports, governance materials, and maintain transparent communication.
• Facilitate client and stakeholder meetings in German and English.
• Support transition of completed facilities into operations, including close‑out documentation and warranties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in construction, industrial, or technical environments (pharma/biotech a plus).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and infrastructure‑related technical topics.
• Familiarity with Swiss construction standards (e.g., SIA), regulatory frameworks, and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, reporting, and presentations.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
