Senior Python Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to own and evolve the core services of our data‑integration platform. You will work on a highly‑scalable Python backend that connects hundreds of third‑party APIs to dozens of destinations, ensuring reliability and performance for our customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise Python services that drive data synchronisation and transformation across 300+ source APIs and 30+ destinations.
• Build new connectors and enhance existing ones, handling authentication flows, rate‑limiting, pagination and schema variations.
• Improve the scalability, concurrency and monitoring of production systems to minimise incidents.
• Write well‑tested, maintainable code using pytest and conduct code reviews for teammates.
• Participate in two‑week sprint planning, adapt priorities and collaborate in a fully remote, async‑friendly environment.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Proven track record building and maintaining production‑grade backend systems.
• Hands‑on experience integrating third‑party APIs (auth, rate limits, pagination, error handling).
• Strong understanding of Python OOP, concurrency (threads/async) and mutable/immutable types.
• Comfortable working in Linux‑based development and production environments.
• Good knowledge of SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Fluent English communication skills and willingness to undergo a background check.
