Senior SAP ABAP Developer

About the role

A well-established SAP software company developing SAP solutions for an international customer base is looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join its development team. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid position based near Zurich.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance enterprise SAP solutions using modern ABAP
• Build complex applications with ABAP Objects and clean development principles
• Design and implement robust software architectures and technical concepts
• Integrate SAP applications in SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environments
• Build and enhance SAP Fiori applications and user interfaces
• Develop solutions using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Work with product management, consultants and customers to deliver solutions
• Support customers with technical analysis, troubleshooting and product enhancements
• Contribute to software quality, performance optimisation and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience as an SAP ABAP Developer
• Strong expertise in ABAP Objects and object-oriented software development
• Experience developing solutions for SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP Fiori
• Understanding of software architecture, system design and SAP development best practices
• Analytical, problem-solving approach; independent, proactive and quality-focused
• Fluent C1+ German and good English
