Service Team Leader (80-100%)

About the role

Lead a regional service team for UPS systems across the German‑speaking part of Switzerland, ensuring high‑quality customer support and operational excellence within ABB’s Electrification business area.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Service Coordinators, Order Handling Specialists, Technical Support Engineers and Field Service Technicians.
• Take overall responsibility for service activities, customer orders and maintenance operations, meeting quality, performance and commercial targets.
• Provide operational support in service planning, review weekly reports and expense claims.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Technical vocational training in Electrical Engineering with a higher technical college qualification (e.g., Certified Technician, Master Craftsman).
• Several years of leadership experience in a similar position.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexible and resilient personality.
• Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland.

Required skills

• Power electronics and UPS systems knowledge.
• Maintenance, servicing, commissioning and repair of electrical installations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
