Accountant (80% FTE) – Finance Team

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Accountant to join the finance team of a fast‑growing medical and technology organization operating across 12 sites in Switzerland. The role is 80 % (part‑time) and offers the opportunity to work with multiple entities while contributing to process optimisation and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, invoice processing and financial follow‑up.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual closings for several entities/sites.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency of financial data across all locations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders throughout Switzerland.
• Participate in the improvement of accounting processes, tools and workflows.
• Gradually take responsibility for managing a full entity end‑to‑end in the medium term.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable accounting position.
• Relevant accounting qualification (CFC, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• Fluent English and French; good knowledge of German is a strong asset.
• Willingness to travel to Zurich approximately once a month.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, proactive and team‑oriented.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting software and interest in new technologies.
