Accountant – Financial Reporting & Treasury

About the role

The Accountant ensures the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our financial statements while supporting the accounting team in day‑to‑day operations. You will actively participate in month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings, audit preparation, and the continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounts in line with CO and IFRS standards and prepare annual financial statements.
• Drive monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, analysing discrepancies and justifying significant variances.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, quarterly VAT processes and annual tax declarations.
• Monitor financial KPIs (DSO, collection rate, AR performance) and consolidate reporting packs for the Group.
• Manage billing, accounts receivable, and AR reconciliation, including ageing updates and provision calculations.
• Perform accounts payable reconciliation, weekly payments, and cash‑follow‑up activities.
• Design, optimise and automate accounting processes within the SSC, contributing to ERP digitisation (Navision, Opale, Axenita).
• Collaborate with finance, audit, operations and IT teams, providing technical support and clear communication to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting, financial closing and audit preparation.
• Strong knowledge of CO and IFRS accounting standards.
• Familiarity with VAT processes and annual tax declaration requirements.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Navision, Opale or Axenita.
