Accountant

About the role

ANAVIA, a Swiss aerospace leader in unmanned VTOL aircraft, is seeking an ambitious Accountant to support its rapid growth and the future of unmanned aviation.

Key responsibilities

• Independently process accounts payable, including verification, coding and posting of supplier invoices.
• Manage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing and monitoring incoming payments.
• Post daily financial transactions in the general ledger and prepare journal entries and periodic accruals.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, including asset capitalization and depreciation.
• Prepare VAT returns and support other statutory reporting requirements.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Assist in maintaining management reports, financial dashboards and analysing results and KPIs.
• Oversee internal cost allocations, cost‑center reporting and variance tracking.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes and maintain financial master data in the ERP system.
• Act as the contact person for accounting matters, support internal and external audits and contribute to finance‑process digitalisation.

Required profile

• Completed commercial vocational training with further education in finance and accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting.
• Solid knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general‑ledger accounting.
• Experience with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
