Accountant – Multi‑GAAP (Swiss & US) – German speaking

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Accountant to join a lean corporate finance team within a private‑equity backed global group. The role is office‑based and involves day‑to‑day financial accounting across key entities, supporting month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing under both Swiss GAAP and US GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes in compliance with Swiss GAAP and US GAAP.
• Assist with local statutory accounting and reconcile Swiss statutory requirements with US GAAP group reporting.
• Maintain general ledger accounts, including fixed assets, accruals, pre‑payments and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Prepare local financial documentation and liaise with external auditors during audits.
• Collaborate with local finance colleagues and the wider group to ensure consistent accounting practices.
• Provide ad‑hoc accounting support and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent professional education.
• Practical experience in general‑ledger accounting within an international environment.
• Fluency in German and professional‑level English.
• Strong team player with a proactive, detail‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Swiss GAAP and US GAAP accounting standards.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
