Accountant – Swiss Statutory Reporting (3‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support Swiss statutory reporting on a short‑term basis for an international manufacturing client. The role involves preparing Swiss statutory financial statements using a US GAAP general ledger and collaborating with both Swiss and US finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Swiss statutory financial statements using data from a US GAAP general ledger.
• Translate US GAAP accounting data into reporting standards required by the Swiss Code of Obligations.
• Support Swiss and US finance teams with reporting and compliance tasks.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure audit‑ready deliverables.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness of all statutory reporting.

Required profile

• Professional experience in accounting or statutory reporting within Switzerland.
• Strong knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations and ability to work with US GAAP data.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Available for a three‑month fixed‑term contract.
• Based in Switzerland and comfortable working remotely.
