Accounting Specialist

About the role

PAVE Space is building the next‑generation heavy Kickstage for in‑space logistics. We need a hands‑on Accounting Specialist to design and scale our accounting infrastructure from the ground up, supporting fast‑growing production and inventory flows.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
• Design and improve scalable reporting structures and accounting processes.
• Establish cost accounting and inventory procedures aligned with production flows.
• Manage cash flow, perform bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP (OR/CO) and local tax regulations.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors and payroll providers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Drive automation and optimisation of accounting processes and ERP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or product‑driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP (OR/CO) and local tax regulations.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent English communication; French is a plus.
