Analyst Internship – Finance, Risk & Structured Finance

About the role

The Klesch Group is offering up to six graduate analyst internships for a period of 3‑12 months, starting in July 2026. Interns will be based in London or Geneva and may rotate across M&A, risk, structured finance and analytics teams, gaining exposure to the energy and commodities sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support M&A activities: financial modelling, valuation, due‑diligence coordination and preparation of offer documents.
• Assist risk teams with reporting, data analysis, exposure monitoring, model updates and stress‑test scenarios.
• Contribute to structured finance and accounts tasks such as liquidity forecasting, transactional finance and financial reporting.
• Develop complex financial models for P&L forecasting and apply machine‑learning techniques for predictive analytics and refinery operations.
• Conduct research for trading desks, analyse pricing data and support molecule‑flow studies.

Required profile

• Degree in a numerate discipline (e.g., mathematics, economics, finance, engineering).
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• European language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
