Analyst – Trade Finance Solutions

About the role

As an Analyst in Trade Finance Solutions you will help design and implement advanced trade finance structures for a global commodity business. Based in Geneva you will work within the Structuring & Insurance team, partnering with commercial, legal, risk and other functions to create bespoke financial products and support credit‑insurance coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with global TFS commercial teams to identify and develop new trade finance products or enhancements, ensuring compliance with true‑sale, tax efficiency and regulatory standards.
• Drive internal approval processes across legal, tax, compliance, risk and controlling functions.
• Maintain and expand a library of term sheets, product documentation and approval records.
• Support commercial teams in obtaining single‑risk credit‑insurance capacity, managing relationships with brokers and underwriters.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end insurance submission process, monitor hit ratios, response times and coordinate claim handling.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in trade finance, structured finance, credit insurance or commodity finance.
• Preferably experience directly linked to the commodity sector, such as financing commodity flows or structuring commodity‑backed products.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
