Android Kotlin Developer

About the role

We are looking for an Android Kotlin Developer to strengthen our client’s teams and contribute to the development of strategic mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Design and continuously improve mobile application architecture.
• Implement new features, integrate REST APIs and authentication flows (OAuth2 / OpenID Connect).
• Ensure code quality, security, performance and maintainability through code reviews and automated testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, backend developers, DevOps and business stakeholders.
• Manage deployment and release processes on the Google Play Store and monitor application reliability.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to communicate technical topics clearly.
• Hands‑on, pragmatic and quality‑oriented mindset.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
• Fluent in English and a collaborative team spirit.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Android SDK, mobile lifecycle, Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI, modularisation and SOLID principles.
• Integration of REST APIs, OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, secure local storage and state management.
• Git, code review practices, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Application deployment and release management on Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Firebase, Sentry or Datadog (optional).
