Application Engineer (AI/ML for Engineering)

About the role

Neural Concept is looking for an Application Engineer to work with its AI‑driven platform and help customers in Korea solve complex engineering challenges. You will bridge the gap between cutting‑edge machine learning technology and real‑world product design in automotive, aerospace and energy sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead joint projects with customer engineering teams, analysing and processing engineering data using the company platform and Python libraries.
• Develop and deliver tailored machine‑learning and deep‑learning workflows for CAD, CAE, CFD, FEM and manufacturing use cases.
• Produce proofs‑of‑concept that demonstrate the value of AI in product design and engineering processes.
• Train customer teams on platform usage and ensure smooth AI adoption.
• Collaborate with internal developers to translate customer feedback into product improvements.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Physics.
• Strong understanding of both engineering principles and machine learning.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Korean or Japanese.
• Customer‑facing attitude with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Machine learning and deep learning frameworks/libraries.
• Simulation experience (CAD/CAE, CFD, FEM).
