Assembly & Test Technician

About the role

You will assemble and test prototypes and low‑volume production batches of UAV systems, working hand‑in‑hand with hardware and software engineers. The role blends mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, soldering and functional testing while ensuring the highest quality standards before validation and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to improve system performance and reliability.
• Perform mechanical assembly, drilling, cabling and functional testing of prototypes and equipment.
• Support full system‑level integration, bringing together mechanical, electronic and software components.
• Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions and test procedures.
• Manage inventory, components and tools for the R&D team, ensuring materials are available and the workspace stays organized.

• Detail‑oriented with a focus on producing reliable, high‑quality results.
• Comfortable working in a lab environment and collaborating across hardware and software teams.
• Strong documentation habits and ability to keep an orderly workspace.

Required skills

• Mechanical assembly and drilling.
