- Law degree (LL.M., JD or equivalent) and admission to practice in an EU/EEA member state, Switzerland or the UK, with current good standing where applicable.
- 8+ years of post-qualification in-house legal experience at a pharma/biotech/life sciences company and/or in the life sciences practice of a leading law firm.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in one or more additional European languages is a plus.
Required skills
- Strong experience independently drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements (services, consulting, technology, procurement).
- Working knowledge of GDPR in commercial and clinical contracting, the EFPIA Code and national industry codes for HCP/HCO and patient organization interactions.
- Familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks for pharmaceutical promotion.
- Preferred: prior in-house experience in a global biotech or pharma company (ideally oncology or specialty pharma), experience with clinical trial, CRO/vendor and HCP/HCO agreements, experience supporting first European commercial launches, and CLM system experience.
