Associate Microsoft Cybersecurity Advisor

About the role

Ontinue is seeking an Associate Microsoft Cybersecurity Advisor to join its Cyber Security Advisory team. This developmental position offers hands‑on exposure to the ION platform and MXDR services, allowing you to shadow experienced professionals while contributing to customer engagements, security assessments, and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Interface directly with customers, providing expert advice and informal leadership on cybersecurity challenges.
• Leverage Microsoft security products (Azure, Sentinel, KQL, Defender suite) to deliver proactive guidance and optimize defenses.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted partner in enhancing security resilience.
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends, attacker tradecraft, and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• Confident communicator in both German and English, able to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of attacker tradecraft and security hardening techniques.
