Auditor – Private Banking & Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join a leading private banking and financial services organisation. The role covers a broad range of risk topics, including financial crime and business conduct, and involves end‑to‑end audit delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report audits across financial crime, business conduct and other risk areas.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels and act as a sparring partner to senior management.
• Own audit activities for Central American markets, including annual risk assessments and activity planning.
• Contribute to special investigations and projects as a subject‑matter expert.
• Prepare statements and reports for senior decision‑makers, including the Head of Group Internal Audit and Board‑level stakeholders.

Required profile

• Banking or business education (CIA, CFA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Auditor in banking.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills in English and German.
• Hands‑on, independent working style with willingness to travel internationally (~30 days per year).
