Autonomous Engineer – Autonomous Vehicle Venture

About the role

Voltrac is developing an autonomous electric tractor to boost Europe’s food security and defence. As an Autonomous Engineer you will join a fast‑growing team in Valencia and own the full autonomy stack, from raw sensor data to production deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines, including cleaning, organising, and labelling of sensor streams.
• Select, train, and iterate on machine‑learning models that enable autonomous operation.
• Design and execute testing campaigns in virtual environments and real‑world fields such as vineyards, olive orchards, and citrus groves.
• Define verification and safety criteria for autonomous functions.
• Manage model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production.

• Strong curiosity and passion for solving hard engineering problems.
• Motivation to create real‑world impact in agriculture and defence.
• Ability to work closely with founders and a multidisciplinary, mission‑driven team.
