Biotech Production Operator (GMP)

About the role

We are looking for a Biotech Production Operator to join an international pharmaceutical company in Schachen, Lucerne. The role involves performing routine manufacturing activities in a GMP‑controlled environment, supporting both weigh‑and‑dispense and solution‑supply operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute routine operator tasks in the Weigh & Dispense and Solution Supply areas following GMP and GDocP standards.
• Support USP and DSP manufacturing processes, including equipment setup, line clearance, and cleanroom readiness.
• Carry out sampling according to approved plans, SOPs, and batch records.
• Assemble and disassemble single‑use systems and process equipment.
• Perform washer and autoclave operations in line with validated cycles.
• Assist with calibration, routine maintenance, and material staging, transfers, and inventory checks.
• Complete GMP documentation accurately (batch records, logbooks, electronic systems) and report deviations or safety observations.
• Support audits, inspections, and internal walkthroughs as required.

Required profile

• Technical or scientific vocational training (e.g., Biotechnology, Chemistry, Lab Technician).
• Minimum 3 years of GMP manufacturing experience, preferably in biotech/pharma.
• Strong understanding of GDP and ALCOA+ principles.
• High attention to detail and a compliance‑focused mindset.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments.
• Fluent in German and English.
