Business Development Manager – Luxury Design Sector

About the role

Gessi, a world‑renowned brand in luxury bathroom and kitchen design, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales in the Swiss market. You will work closely with architects, designers, and developers to promote our exclusive collections and achieve regional sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Reach project (contract division) sales targets within the assigned area.
• Identify and build long‑term collaborations with key designers and developers in luxury real estate.
• Present Gessi collections to architects, designers, developers and other stakeholders.
• Support A&D partners in setting project specifications.
• Define strategic account plans and identify key regional stakeholders.
• Prepare regular performance updates for the zone director.
• Gather market intelligence on products, competitors, pricing and R&D.
• Coordinate with HQ back‑office to ensure quality and timely service.
• Utilise company tools such as Edicola and CRM for daily tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in furniture or design.
• Resident in Switzerland, preferably Zurich or a German‑speaking canton.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
