Business Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Project Manager to lead digital business projects for a global reinsurance client. The role combines team leadership, portfolio management and delivery of strategic initiatives with a strong digital focus.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of three Project Managers.
• Manage digital business projects and strategic initiatives, overseeing the full project lifecycle.
• Review project demand intake, business cases and set portfolio priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior business and IT stakeholders.
• Manage project pipeline, resources and governance processes.
• Lead the business benefit assessment of the IWMS (Planon) platform.
• Prepare executive presentations and management documentation.
• Drive process improvements across project and service management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• 4+ years of people‑leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing digital business projects.
• Project management certification (PMI, PRINCE2 or IPMA) preferred.
• Understanding of IT applications and service delivery environments.
• Fluent English; German preferred.
