Chief Executive Officer (B2B SaaS)

About the role

This senior leadership position is based in Switzerland and reports to a portfolio partner. The Chief Executive Officer will own full P&L responsibility and drive end‑to‑end performance of a fast‑scaling B2B SaaS business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s strategy aligned with market dynamics and portfolio goals.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management with full P&L accountability.
• Lead go‑to‑market execution across product‑led growth, inbound, enterprise sales, and partnership channels.
• Drive operational excellence through KPI management, process optimisation and scalable operating models.
• Build, develop and retain high‑performing leadership teams, including succession planning.
• Champion product and business innovation, including AI‑driven opportunities and new business models.
• Foster a strong company culture grounded in accountability, performance and collaboration.
• Represent the business externally with customers, partners, investors and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with portfolio leadership to ensure strategic alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CEO, General Manager or senior executive in a B2B SaaS organisation.
• Strong track record of scaling SaaS businesses and delivering ARR, retention and profitability growth.
• Deep expertise in go‑to‑market strategy across PLG, enterprise sales and partnerships.
• Financial acumen with full ownership of budgeting, forecasting and P&L management.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead and scale high‑performing leadership teams.
• Experience driving organisational transformation and operational improvements at scale.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into execution.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
