Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Switzerland & Austria

About the role

The Holmes Place Group is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial function for its Swiss and Austrian entities. Reporting to senior management, the CFO will ensure financial stability, drive sustainable growth, and support operational excellence across both markets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial and statistical data to senior management for informed decision‑making.
• Oversee monthly reporting, including full Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets for Switzerland and Austria.
• Maintain technical standards for financial operations and implement efficient, operator‑friendly processes.
• Design and monitor control systems, managing the company’s risk profile.
• Lead annual statutory audits in both countries, ensuring compliance with legal deadlines.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and third‑party service providers (tax, finance, legal).
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and liquidity optimization.
• Oversee insurance policies in coordination with Human Resources.
• Lead the local finance/accounting team and participate in senior management decisions.

Required profile

• Ultimate financial accountability for corporate entities in Switzerland and Austria.
• Strategic vision combined with a hands‑on mentality.
• Experience managing statutory audits, financial reporting, and risk controls.
• Proven ability to work with banks, auditors, and external service providers.
