About the role
FORFIRM is seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, deploy and optimise cloud‑based solutions in a highly regulated environment. The role combines hands‑on technical work with collaboration across development, architecture and security teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain scalable, reliable GCP solutions, including Cloud SQL instances.
- Deploy and support containerised applications using Kubernetes.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with PCI and other regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform issues, continuously improving deployment processes.
Required profile
- Proven hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, regulated‑industry teams.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
