Cloud Security Team Lead

About the role

As the Cloud Security Team Lead you will head a small team within the Cloud Governance & Architecture pillar of our Cloud & DevOps Services. You will be responsible for protecting our cloud infrastructure and code, driving security best‑practice adoption and ensuring a robust security posture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 4‑6 internal and external security engineers, set objectives, conduct performance reviews and manage the backlog.
• Oversee third‑party suppliers, contracts and budget related to cloud security services.
• Design, implement and continuously improve a full stack of cloud security and DevSecOps solutions (CNAPP, SAST, SCA, secret detection, policy‑as‑code).
• Provide guidance to engineering and project teams on security controls, guidelines and best practices.
• Facilitate collaboration between product, cybersecurity and compliance teams to quantify risk and define control objectives.
• Contribute to cloud security governance, framework management, KPI dashboards and evangelisation.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of hands‑on experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, optionally Alibaba Cloud).
• Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self‑starter who can work autonomously, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• AWS (or GCP) services and certifications such as AWS Certified Security.
• Cloud‑native security tools: CNAPP, SAST, SCA, secret detection, policy‑as‑code.
• OWASP Top 10, OWASP Testing Guide.
• Data protection concepts, especially for PII.
• Container platforms: Kubernetes, EKS, ACK.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Security architecture, automation and configuration management.
