Cloud System Administrator – Azure, CI/CD & Terraform (Banking)

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud System Administrator to join a banking‑industry project in Zurich. The role focuses on administering, automating, monitoring and remediating applications and infrastructure deployed in Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Own the administration of Azure‑based solutions, including automation, patching, monitoring and remediation.
• Assess existing monitoring, propose improvements and implement automated deployment and operable monitoring solutions.
• Maintain end‑to‑end connectivity across systems and applications, ensuring servers and platform components stay up‑to‑date with lifecycle policies.
• Maintain accurate inventories of ICT infrastructure and applications.
• Provide hands‑on support throughout the project lifecycle: architecture design, build, deployment, configuration and operations.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, DevOps and Network teams to deliver automated‑by‑default Azure deployments following CI/CD best practices.
• Validate reliability configurations and produce technical evidence for compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure administration and a solid understanding of Azure networking and identity management.
• Ability to read, understand and challenge technical designs and architectures.
• Excellent command of English and Spanish; German is a plus.
