Communications and Programme Management Consultant

About the role

The consultancy will strengthen the Beyond Lab’s communication of its value, supporting resource mobilisation and enhancing the Lab’s brand, storytelling and outreach. It will improve operational efficiencies, internal coordination and translate complex research into accessible communications products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic communications, brand positioning and audience‑specific narratives across the Lab’s portfolio and partnerships.
• Design and implement outreach campaigns, tailoring messages for Member States, UN entities, civil society, youth, academia and private‑sector partners.
• Provide strategic communications support for donor engagement, partnership development and resource mobilisation, creating investment cases, pitch decks and impact stories.
• Coordinate communications priorities, translate research findings into clear products and advise on narrative consistency, branding and visual identity.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in communications, marketing, environmental management, social sciences, international relations or related field, or two years relevant experience.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in strategic communications, brand strategy, audience marketing, storytelling or communications research.
• Demonstrated ability to develop communications strategies and translate complex ideas into compelling content for diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English and French; knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
