Communications Business Partner (80-100%)

About the role

Bachem AG is looking for a full-time Communications Business Partner (80-100%) in Bubendorf, reporting to the Head of Group Communications and External Affairs. The role supports the businesses in all areas of communications and drives integrated, channel-agnostic communication execution.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a business partner in the Group Communications and External Affairs team, supporting business priorities and projects across internal and external channels, including digital, social media and events.
• Ensure consistent narratives, messages and tone across all touchpoints.
• Translate business topics and milestones into clear, audience-appropriate content aligned with communication strategy, brand guidelines and governance.
• Develop and coordinate multi-channel assets such as articles, presentations, visuals and social-media-ready content with channel and topic leads.
• Support global communication coordination across locations, enabling consistent messaging and effective localization.
• Prepare and support global leadership meetings and key events such as Capital Market Day, Financial Results and the Annual General Meeting.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience in corporate communications; experience with manufacturing, chemical or pharmaceutical companies is a plus.
• Strong command of English and German, with strong writing and storytelling skills in either language; French is a plus.
• University degree in science, business communication or a related field.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and to prioritize in a growing company.
