Community Manager Internship (Lead to Permanent)

About the role

Askalon Industries is looking for a dynamic Community Manager intern to drive its social media presence, manage the website, and create compelling visual content around its AI‑driven acoustic drone detection technology. The role starts ASAP and can lead to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Run and grow social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) with engaging posts about acoustic drone detection.
• Maintain and update the company website, publishing news, case studies and ensuring a professional look.
• Capture photos and videos on‑site (airfields, oil refineries, etc.) showing the technology in action.
• Edit footage into short, punchy videos for demos, event recaps and social clips.
• Collaborate with the Head of Sales to design and execute marketing campaigns, trade‑show materials and email/LinkedIn outreach.

Required profile

• Passion for storytelling and a desire to promote technology that protects critical infrastructure.
• Comfortable working in varied environments, from windy airfields to industrial sites.
• Fluent English (better than the company’s own level) and able to write sharp LinkedIn posts.
• Not overly serious about self‑image but serious about engagement, reach and lead generation.

Required skills

• Video editing with Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve.
• Basic photography and videography on location.
• Social‑media management (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube).
• Website content updates (CMS basics).
