Community Manager

About the role

Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments. As a Community Manager you will be the public face of the company, ensuring a vibrant and well‑managed presence across social channels, community platforms and events.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day social presence on X (Twitter) and LinkedIn, sharing product updates, customer wins, blog posts, conference highlights and timely industry commentary.
• Run the Proteinbase community, producing newsletters, competition updates, designer spotlights and moderating the Slack channel where participants collaborate.
• Own the participant‑facing side of open competitions and hackathons, handling applicant communication, rule setting, judging logistics and post‑event recaps, and turning each event into public artifacts such as leaderboards, datasets and blog posts.
• Triage inbound community and customer messages, routing technical queries to the appropriate team members.
• Coordinate with the founders and science team to decide what content to publish, amplify or hold back.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience managing social media, content or community for a technical or science‑focused organization.
• Strong understanding of biotech, AI or lab‑automation ecosystems is a plus.
• Excellent written communication and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑growing startup.
