Compliance Officer – Wealth Management (Zurich)

About the role

A well‑established, internationally connected wealth management firm is seeking a Compliance Officer for its Zurich team. The role offers broad, hands‑on exposure across the client lifecycle and direct interaction with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client onboarding, due‑diligence reviews and ongoing KYC remediation.
• Monitor transactions and investigate potential AML concerns.
• Develop, update and implement compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide day‑to‑day regulatory guidance to management and staff.
• Deliver training on AML, conduct risk, cross‑border regulations and other compliance topics.
• Support regulatory projects and compliance initiatives.
• Perform controls within the internal control framework and contribute to risk‑management enhancements.
• Assist with data protection and information‑governance activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of compliance experience in wealth management, private banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of AML, KYC, client due‑diligence and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of Swiss financial‑services regulations and cross‑border requirements.
• Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline.
• Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
