Confirmed Backend Engineer - Payment Squad

About the role

Join a fast‑paced engineering team building secure, scalable payment systems that serve millions of users worldwide. You will work on end‑to‑end payment experiences, ensuring smooth transactions, fraud prevention, and compliance across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, develop, test, deploy, monitor and support production.
• Develop and scale payment services covering the complete transaction lifecycle, fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
• Integrate and maintain multiple payment methods and collaborate with external payment service providers.
• Partner with product managers, designers and frontend engineers to deliver user‑centric solutions.
• Ensure platform reliability, performance and scalability through strong engineering and operational practices.
• Share technical expertise, contribute to architectural discussions and mentor cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience in fast‑growing, product‑focused environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work with both technical and non‑technical teams.
• Team‑oriented mindset, humility, curiosity and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
