Consultant – Yearly Declaration of Interests (YDI) External Reviewer 2026

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Consultant to act as the external reviewer for the 2026 Yearly Declaration of Interests (YDI) exercise. Reporting to the Chief of the Ethics and Conduct Unit (ECO) and working closely with the YDI Coordination and Support Associate, the consultant will ensure the integrity of the declaration process for approximately 200 staff members.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full YDI cycle for 2026, from launch to final reporting.
• Review and validate around 200 disclosure forms for completeness, accuracy and compliance with IOM standards.
• Identify and follow up on any inconsistencies or missing supporting documentation.
• Prepare concise reports summarizing findings and recommendations for senior management.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with IOM policies.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in Law, Ethics, Public Administration, Governance or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in compliance, conflicts‑of‑interest reviews, ethics assessments or due‑diligence analysis.
• Prior experience with United Nations, IOM or other international organizations is an asset.
• Proven ability to draft clear reports and official documents.
• Experience working in environments that require strict confidentiality.
