Corporate Controller

About the role

LGT Capital Partners is looking for a proactive Corporate Controller to join its central Corporate Controlling team. You will work closely with finance colleagues across global offices, supporting daily operations and helping the firm transition to an AI‑enabled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial analyses, including budget‑to‑actual variance and monthly management fee reconciliations.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc analyses, deep‑dives and scenario assessments for internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process from preparation through execution.
• Maintain and continuously improve management reporting, focusing on relevance, usability and automation.
• Drive the transformation of the controlling function toward AI‑enabled processes, rethinking and streamlining existing workflows.
• Leverage automation, analytics and AI‑based tools to enhance efficiency and insight quality.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement modern, data‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics or information technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in asset management or financial advisory.
• Excellent English communication skills; German is a strong asset.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft 365 suite.
• Experience working with databases or multidimensional cubes and building scalable reporting solutions (e.g., Power BI).
• Strong motivation to develop technical skills in a fast‑changing, automation‑driven environment.
• Analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving abilities.
• Independent, structured and outcome‑focused working style.
