Crypto Compliance Officer – Monitoring

About the role

Join Swissquote’s Compliance Department as a Crypto Compliance Officer in the Monitoring team. You will ensure that digital asset transactions comply with AML/CTF regulations and support the bank’s regulatory initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate digital asset deposits and withdrawals from an AML/CTF perspective.
• Perform crypto due diligence, blockchain investigations and analyse monitoring alerts, wallets and high‑risk exposures.
• Assess and document clients’ source of funds and source of wealth related to digital assets.
• Identify and escalate suspicious activities and sanctions exposures to relevant teams.
• Participate in regulatory projects, draft and maintain internal policies and provide training on digital‑asset processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Economics or equivalent AML/CTF experience.
• 3‑5 years of AML/CTF compliance experience in a financial institution, focusing on digital assets.
• Strong analytical, documentation and multitasking abilities, with fluency in English and French.

Required skills

• Blockchain analysis and crypto due‑diligence expertise.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Lukka, TRM Labs or Chainalysis.
• Knowledge of Swiss AML legislation (AMLA, AMLO‑FINMA, CDB) and related regulations.
