Crypto Investigator (Remote)

About the role

CryptoSec is seeking a motivated Crypto Investigator to join its fully‑remote CryptoSec business unit. You will lead complex investigations into cryptocurrency‑related cybercrimes, helping clients trace and recover stolen digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and NFTs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep blockchain forensics to identify illicit transactions and trace stolen crypto assets.
• Collaborate with law‑enforcement agencies, exchanges, custodians, and legal teams during investigations.
• Respond rapidly to cyber‑crime incidents to increase the likelihood of asset recovery before funds move off‑chain.
• Prepare detailed investigative reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay current with evolving crypto‑related threats, regulatory changes, and forensic tools.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in law enforcement, fraud/AML investigations, or related financial‑services roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple high‑priority cases.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
