About the role
We are looking for experienced and motivated Customs Declarants to join our dynamic, international, technology‑driven environment in Basel. The role ensures smooth and compliant customs operations while leveraging digital customs solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and verify customs documentation in compliance with national and international regulations.
- Manage customs declarations and perform clearance procedures.
- Hand out customs documents to clients.
- Communicate with clients.
- Stay up to date with evolving customs regulations.
- Collaborate with customs teams across Europe.
Required profile
- More than 2 years of experience in customs operations with knowledge of regulations and clearance procedures.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Allowance to work in Switzerland.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to digital workflows.
- Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency in customs systems.
- Experience with ERP software.
- Familiarity with digital automation tools.
