Cyber Security Analyst (Part‑time Remote)

About the role

This part‑time remote position is for a Cyber Security Analyst who will help protect our digital assets by monitoring threats and strengthening our security posture. You will work independently while collaborating with internal teams to ensure a safe and resilient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts to detect potential incidents.
• Perform malware analysis to identify, dissect, and mitigate malicious code.
• Ensure application and network security through continuous assessment and hardening.
• Proactively identify and remediate cyber threats before they impact operations.
• Assess vulnerabilities, implement appropriate security controls, and verify effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to protect organizational assets and data.

Required profile

• Expertise in Application Security to safeguard software systems.
• Proficiency in core cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Hands‑on experience in Malware Analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Network Security protocols and best practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred.
