Cyber Security Expert – OT Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Expert specialized in Operational Technology (OT) systems to support the development and protection of WinGD’s large two‑stroke engine products. You will work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team to ensure our solutions meet the highest cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cybersecurity regulations and trends relevant to current and future WinGD products.
• Collect and translate cybersecurity requirements from legislation, class rules and product strategy.
• Design and maintain a cybersecurity architecture compatible with existing engine control systems.
• Develop strategies, guidelines, audits, documentation and training for cybersecurity.
• Create and test cybersecurity solutions following the V‑cycle.
• Oversee compliance with cybersecurity requirements and guidelines.
• Manage technology needs for automation and control components of large two‑stroke engines.
• Serve as point of contact for internal and external customers on OT cyber‑resilience.

Required profile

• MSc or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Automation & Control or related field.
• Deep knowledge of OT‑focused cybersecurity standards and methods.
• Strong background in software architecture and development processes.
• Proven expertise in automation, control systems and large two‑stroke engines.
• Hands‑on experience with IEC 62443 implementation, risk and gap assessments, network segmentation, system hardening, secure remote access and compliance programs.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
