Data Governance & Enterprise Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Data Governance & Enterprise Architect to strengthen the ICT Governance team of one of our clients in Nyon. This role plays a key part in ensuring that enterprise data is effectively governed, structured, integrated, and managed across multiple business and technology solutions while supporting the organization's digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define, review, and enhance conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting business and technology solutions.
• Maintain and update enterprise data architecture artifacts, including data flows, lifecycle diagrams, interfaces, and business processes within the enterprise architecture repository.
• Ensure consistency and alignment of master data and reference data across applications and platforms.
• Contribute to the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders to document and maintain high‑quality metadata and data catalog information.
• Collaborate with solution architects to ensure data‑related solutions comply with established architectural principles and best practices.
• Support the design of scalable and reliable data analytics and data science environments in collaboration with data specialists.
• Foster collaboration across architecture, analytics, privacy, and business teams to promote effective data management practices.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in data governance, data management, and analytics initiatives.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with relational and non‑relational databases, as well as modern data warehouse or data lake platforms.
• Experience working with enterprise architecture solutions; familiarity with LeanIX is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of data modeling methodologies and information architecture principles.
• Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into structured data solutions.
