Data Strategy Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Data Strategy Analyst to support enterprise‑wide data transformation initiatives. Working remotely from Switzerland, you will bridge business and technology to strengthen data governance, improve data quality, and enable strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of an enterprise Data Transformation Programme by contributing to data strategy, governance, and data quality initiatives.
• Maintain and coordinate the enterprise data backlog, aligning priorities with business objectives.
• Assist in establishing data governance frameworks, domain ownership models, and clear role definitions.
• Prepare analyses, recommendations, and documentation for customer data strategy initiatives.
• Coordinate data‑quality improvement activities and help implement a sustainable Data Quality Framework.
• Define and validate reporting, analytics, and operating‑model processes for continuous delivery.
• Produce reports, presentations, and documentation for governance forums and strategic discussions.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to align data initiatives with organizational priorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Strategy, Data Governance, Enterprise Data Management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data‑governance principles, frameworks, and domain‑ownership models.
• Proven experience supporting data‑quality initiatives and implementing governance processes.
• Ability to manage or coordinate project backlogs, priorities, and strategic data initiatives.
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders in cross‑functional environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Experience with enterprise Data Transformation programmes is an advantage.
• Knowledge of customer data‑strategy initiatives, reporting and analytics operating models, or RACI frameworks is beneficial.
