Development Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Development Engineer to design and optimise fluid‑control workflows for our next‑generation blood analyser. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to bring prototype analysers into our blood labs and ensure they meet performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise fluid‑control workflows for the new analyser.
• Investigate technical issues related to blood and calibration fluid handling and propose design improvements.
• Create data‑analysis tools to evaluate system performance.
• Design and execute experiments to assess specific performance aspects.
• Commission prototype analysers in laboratory environments.

Required profile

• MSc degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanics, Fluidics or related).
• Minimum 3 years of industry or research experience, preferably with blood‑gas analyser workflows.
• Strong ability to understand complex system interactions.
• Proven experience in Python programming and complex data analysis.
• Experience with C++ is an advantage.
• Background in systems engineering and structured documentation.
• Persistent problem‑solver with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
