DevOps Engineer (100% remote)

About the role

Tether is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, with a focus on test‑driven deployment, automated release management, and Infrastructure as Code. The role is fully remote and supports our fintech and blockchain products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and management of CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, ensuring fast, reliable software delivery.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployment pipelines for distributed environments.
• Oversee build, packaging, and publishing for JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++ packages, including versioning and registry publication.
• Develop cross‑platform build pipelines using CMake or equivalent tools for web, desktop, and mobile.
• Automate end‑to‑end release processes, including tagging, signing, and distribution of applications.
• Define and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision scalable, secure infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot and improve release reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines at scale in production.
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration, networking, and shell scripting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for globally distributed teams.
