DevOps Engineer – Cloud Native Platforms

About the role

Swisscom is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate cloud‑native platforms that keep essential services stable and reliable. You will work in an agile environment, shaping automation and tooling that support large‑scale cloud operations.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer, develop, operate and continuously improve cloud‑native platforms.
• Design, implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native tooling.
• Develop and operate services, integrations and supporting infrastructure.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, troubleshooting and debugging across containers, networking and Linux systems.
• Participate in incident management, on‑call rotation and change handling.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Linux, cloud‑native architectures and container‑based systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Cloud Foundry, BOSH, Elasticsearch, MongoDB and RabbitMQ.
• Proven ability to operate and develop cloud platforms at scale.
• Skilled at debugging complex networking and infrastructure issues.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
