DevOps Engineer - Live Entertainment

About the role

A partner company representing a live entertainment company in Switzerland is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The team supports large-scale live entertainment productions and high-traffic ticketing platforms across European markets, building, securing and operating cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure with Kubernetes, containerized workloads and infrastructure as code.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision and manage Azure resources with Terraform, and secure hub-and-spoke network architectures
• Provision, maintain and optimize AKS clusters and container workloads, including node pools, autoscaling and ingress controllers
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps Pipelines and support GitOps deployments
• Help developers build, containerize and deploy PHP and Node.js/React workloads, and configure DNS, TLS, ingress and WAF settings
• Set up monitoring, logging, metrics and alerts with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights
• Maintain identity and access controls, Managed Identities, Azure RBAC and secrets management
• Investigate incidents, write runbooks and contribute to technical architecture reviews

Required profile

• At least three years in DevOps or platform engineering, including two years on Microsoft Azure in production
• Strong Azure knowledge, including Management Groups, Subscriptions and Resource Groups
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC and Managed Identities
• Upper-intermediate English or higher

• Terraform, Linux, Bash, PowerShell and Git
• Docker and Docker Compose
• Production AKS, ingress controllers, Helm charts and kubectl
• Hub-and-spoke networking, Private Endpoints, Private Link and Private DNS Zones
• GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines; Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and KQL basics
• Advantageous: Argo CD, Flux, Kubernetes Network Policies, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and relevant Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-400, CKA)
