EASA Part-66 Cat B2 Avionics Engineer - Bombardier

About the role

A maintenance organisation based at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is looking for an EASA Part-66 Cat B2 licensed avionics engineer to work on Bombardier business jets. The role involves acting as certifying staff in an AMAC 145 organisation, performing routine and non-routine maintenance tasks and supporting customers during aircraft on-ground situations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as certifying staff in an AMAC 145 maintenance organisation
• Perform routine and non-routine task cards and related operational tasks
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and rectify flight problems
• Record all work according to the appropriate manuals and regulations
• Liaise with internal 145 MRO and PO Part 21 shops on maintenance issues
• Travel away from the home base to support customers during AOG situations

Required profile

• 5 years of practical experience in base maintenance
• EASA Part-66 Cat B2 licence with 2-3 years' experience as Certifying Staff on Challenger 300/350, 604/605/650, Global 5000/5500/6000/6500/7500, with at least 3 years on the aircraft type
• Fluent English
• Flexibility to work and adapt in different environments
