EASA Part-66 Cat B2 Avionics Engineer - Gulfstream

About the role

An owner-managed, young and dynamic company is looking for an EASA Part-66 Cat B2 licensed avionics engineer to work as certifying staff in its AMAC 145 maintenance organisation. The role involves routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repair of flight problems, and working away from the base to support customers during AOG situations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as certifying staff in an AMAC 145 maintenance organisation
• Perform routine and non-routine task cards and related operational tasks
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and rectify flight problems
• Record all work performed in line with the appropriate manuals and regulations
• Liaise with internal 145 MRO and PO Part 21 shops on maintenance issues
• Travel away from the home base to support customers during AOG

Required profile

• 5 years of practical experience in base maintenance
• EASA Part-66 Cat B2 licence with 2-3 years' experience as Certifying Staff on Gulfstream IV / 450 / 550 / 650 aircraft, with at least 3 years on the specific aircraft type
• Fluent English
• Ability to work and adapt in different environments
