Electrical Supervisor

About the role

Mercury, the European leader in construction solutions, is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for its Zurich site. You will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver complex engineering projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site safety together with the Mercury Safety Advisor, including set‑up, maintenance and closure of the safety file.
• Supervise and inspect electrical work to guarantee compliance with standard procedures and assignments.
• Liaise with Site QA and the Electrical Package Manager to achieve “Right First Time” installations.
• Control costs related to mechanical sub‑contractors, material deliveries, plant and equipment variations.
• Monitor project schedule in collaboration with other trades, package leads, consulting engineers and the client.
• Direct day‑to‑day on‑site operations, subcontractor activities and weekly progress meetings.
• Maintain the Mercury “In Progress” snagging system and issue weekly punch‑list updates.
• Prepare final project documentation, including O&M manuals, safety and QA files.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing site safety and electrical supervision on construction projects.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades, subcontractors and client requirements.
• Strong organisational skills for cost control, schedule management and documentation.
